Tell us a little bit about you outside of being an author. Well for starters, I’m a mother of four little girls. I’m a student at Kennedy-King College. My major is Media Communication and I love to talk shit all day long. I’m a pretty cool woman. I like having fun.
Tell us a little bit about your new release. To tell the truth, I’m looking for a movie deal for my books, but I know all things take time. But that don’t mean I’m going to slow my pace in trying to find one. I have a number of other books that I’m working on. ‘’Memoirs of a Bitch” is a hard book to follow, but I only get better. So be looking for my next book soon. ‘’Love, Life, Loyalty, Hate, Death, Deceit” This is another hot one.
How many years of professional writing experience do you have? What have you written? I’ve been writing to myself for years if that makes any difference, but ‘’Memoirs of a Bitch” is my first professional book.
Do you have an occupation in addition to being a writer? If so, what is it? I’m a Student Advisor at Kennedy-King College. I help out where they need me. Then I’m a mother. That’s a job in itself.
What credentials establish you as an expert in your field or have contributed to your success as an author? Life in itself has giving me the credentials to establish me as an expert. I mean, I’m one of those type of people that look at life for what it really is and it’s a gift from GOD that gives me the ability to turn what I made out of life into something else that I can share with others in a special way.
About the Book

What was your motivation for writing this book? It was two things that motivated me to write this book. One was someone telling me that I couldn’t do it. I hate to be told what I can and can’t do. Then the other thing was I hate to say this, but some of shit in this book I’ve experienced real talk. And that’s the way I was feeling. So I wrote it down. Fiction imitating facts makes the best books.
Tell us some of the factors that make your book unique. In my opinion, the whole book is unique. Without giving the book away, the whole plot was unforeseen. You would never expect to get out of this book what’s in it. This book is straight forward and makes a powerful impact.
What emotions does your book evoke from readers? This book is going to make the reader experience hurt, anger, love, spitefulness, bitterness and betrayal. ‘’Memoirs of a Bitch” is going to take you for a loop.
Are there any controversial elements in your book? Yes, there a lot of controversial elements. But it is what it is.
In researching your book, did you come across any surprising facts, figures or statistics? I ain’t even gone lie. Hell no.
If your book were for sale in a major bookstore, in what section would it be found? Urban fiction no doubt.
What did you learn while writing this book? Mind over matter. I can do anything that I put my mind to.
What one thing about writing do you wish other non-writers would understand? It’s a hustle. You got to keep grinding. You got to keep putting your name in people mouths. Ain’t any rest day. Every day is a hump day. And that second book better damn well be better than that first book.
What are three things you wish you’d known before you reached where you are now? I’m pretty new to this, so I haven’t learned the game just yet. So it ain’t too much yet I can complain about. I’m just grateful for this opportunity.
How and why does your book differ from books of a similar topic? I’m a different type of writer. I come from a different place and have a different point of view then most writers. I’m giving the real side of shit. Now don’t give me wrong, I fanaticize up in my book a bit, but they stick to real life and the life I’ve lived. The shit that takes place in my book happens every day in some poor soul’s life.
What would you like your readers to take away from your book? I would like for the readers to take a sense of difference away from my book. What I mean by that is every situation is not the same so you can’t treat them react to them or approach them in the same manner. There different.
If you could change one thing you did during your road to publication, what would it be and what would you have done different? Real talk, nothing. Without the struggles that I went through in this long process, I wouldn’t be here.
What advice would you give an aspiring author? The sky is the limit. You can do anything you put your mind too. Don’t let anybody discourage you. If you’re the only person that believe in you, then so fucking what. Make yourself proud, because at the end of the day, you’re the only person that matters anyway.

Please identify five recent books that compete most directly with yours. That’s funny, I’m not trying to step on any toes, but I can’t name anybody. The only person books that can compete directly with me in my opinion is Donald Goines or Lil Wayan if he choose to write.

Ce Rob is the shit! She off the hook, the book off the hook, plus she my homegirl. Go cop that!!!!!!
