Tell us a little bit about you outside of being an author.
Denicio: Actually, I’m the subject of a new book by Push! This is very interesting for me because I’ve never had anyone write about me.
Push: I’m also a book reviewer and a historian. However, I’m an artist first and foremost.
Tell us a little bit about your work in progress and/or your upcoming release.
Denicio: Push and I are currently working on a soundtrack for the book, which is titled Denicio Barbier. We’re writing it together.
Push: Yes, I’m working on the Denicio Barbier novel, and I’m recording a soundtrack for it as well, Denicio and I are writing songs for it, pulling her poetry into it, her creativity as well.
Do you have an occupation in addition to being a singer? Yes, I’m also an exotic dancer and Poet.
What was your motivation for writing this book? I wanted to explore lesbian life.
