I’ve always been a team player. When I read comic books as a kid, my favorites were about groups (the Justice League, the Fantastic Four, the Avengers). When I went outside to play, I always preferred playing with other kids to amusing myself; there was something special about the camaraderie and teamwork involved in our games. I always figured that when I grew up, I’d find some sort of job where I’d be part of a group, and continue to have the kind of interaction I enjoy the most. So what did I do? I became a writer, which can be one of the most solitary professions in the world.
