What’s your writing New Year’s resolution? Mine is to improve my craft. I’d like to write bigger, stronger books. OK. So I say that every year.
We’ve all heard the best form of promotion is our really good book. Makes sense, would you agree? If readers don’t enjoy your last book, they’re not going to look for your next one. You know that old saying, “You only get one chance to make a good first impression”? Makes you shiver doesn’t it?
I admire authors who continually improve their craft; those authors whose current release is even better than their last book. It makes me impatient for their next book. How do they do it?
I’ve been surfing around the Net testifying about October being awareness month – National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and National Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
