Romance in Color has been around for almost ten years and has been a quiet advocate of the African American romance and its authors. Within those ten years, we’ve promoted new authors and veterans, and given consistent detailed reviews for current releases. Today, we have approxomately 1000 reviews in our database.
In the early days of RIC, reviewers were allowed to give 5-star ratings based on their own impressions of books, however, several years ago that changed and a decision was made to assigned a 5-star rating only when one of the two more senior reviewers agreed with the 5-star rating by the reviewer.

In August, Harlequin Kimani Romance began publication of its first continuity, a four book series called Three Weddings and A Reunion.
