I just wanted to say during this Thanksgiving holiday season that I’m truly thankful. I’m thankful for the gift of life, my health, strength and for close family and friends. I’m also thankful for being given the opportunity to share my thoughts with everyone on Blogging in Black and for being able to read and learn something from each and every post from others.

On another note, I wanted to say that some of my family and friends and I got together to go and see the new movie This Christmas. This was a great movie. The acting was great as well. If you’ve already seen the movie, let me know your thoughts.

Hello Everyone,
I hope that this post finds everyone doing well.
As a writer, one thing that I’ve found that gives me a boost when I’m having writers block or basically in a non-writing mood, is reading writing quotes by others. Reading quotes always helps to encourage me and in turn sparks my creativity. [...]

For my commentary this month, instead of sharing my own personal thoughts, I decided to interview another fellow author.  I’ve chosen to interview author, Barbara Keaton, an excellent romance writer in her own right.  When you get done reading a love scene in any one of her books, you’ll sure need to fan yourself off.  [...]

Do you read urban fiction? This question has been posed to me on many occasions since the explosion of this genre. “Yes, I’ve read and enjoyed a few urban fiction books.” I always answer. The first urban fiction book that I read was, “The Coldest Winter Ever” by the talented author, [...]
